In 2017, our team was brought into as partners on the Terminal Business Park project. Located in Long Beach, California, the project involved the construction of four two-story commercial office buildings. We were tasked to design in a modern architectural style – complete with specialized structural detailing – in order to accommodate the unique architectural expectations. Additionally, we ensured that the structural design conformed to the rigorous requirements of the California Building Code, as the building is located in a high seismic region. We worked closely with partners and coordinated the architectural design to achieve the desired architectural goals.
