When you are involved with the construction of a 283-unit complex with 18 apartment buildings designed in seven different unit types, the foundation is everything. RMG’s expertise was used to its full advantage as the team was brought it to provide extensive over-excavation testing, concrete testing and inspections, the inspection of reinforcing steel, and inspections of all post-tension slab work. RMG’s thorough approach went above and beyond to include the verification use of required concrete design mix, the overseeing of concrete placement during the construction phase, and the inspection formwork for shape, location, and dimensions for concrete construction. We also provided inspection work for curbs/gutters, storm inlets, manholes, asphalt paving, and testing.
This apartment complex, located within the Adams 12 School District, was built to enrich and support families living in the Thornton community. Our role of ensuring that all aspects of the excavation, testing, and planning of the construction were done completely and with the highest standards proved to be just as rewarding for the RMG team as the end result was to the residents.
