Richie Lyon, P.E.
Civil Project Engineer
Richie has been practicing civil engineering as a design engineer and project engineer for five years. His focus early in his career was in municipal utility designs for various urban cities and municipalities such as the City of Milwaukee. He has experience in land development for commercial clients and more recently has designed numerous home sites in mountainous Colorado areas such as the Roaring Fork Valley (Aspen, Carbondale). Combined with his utility experience and project management skills for a large corporation, Richie uses his project engineer role from project inception through business development all the way to construction completion, including inspection duties on occasion.
Richie is a registered professional engineer in the states of Colorado and Wisconsin with a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. He has experience in both the public and private sector as well as consulting and project management for a major utility.
Richie enjoys educating kids from elementary to high school age via STEM programs and has done so in his hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and plans to be involved in the Colorado Springs community.
