Who we are looking for:

Are you looking for interesting work that will provide you with opportunities to excel and grow within your chosen profession? Do you enjoy working on a multitude of project types within a highly collaborative environment? As a Staff Architect/Architectural Intern at RMG, you will develop your architectural skills in design and detail by assisting lead architects and other disciplines in achieving client goals. You will also get to work alongside some of the most awesome Employee Owners who will value your work ethic and skillsets.

What you’ll be doing:

Including but not limited to:

  • Assist in project development throughout the building design process, including programming, schematic design, design development, and contract documents
  • Preparing scaled drawings and contract documents for building contractors using Revit
  • Researching and identifying products (finishes, fixtures, etc.)
  • Researching codes and other standards as necessary for compliance
  • Join team members on occasion for on-site observation of work during C.A. to monitor compliance with plans
  • Periodically courier documents locally, as necessary
  • Assist in proper documentation of project files

Related experience from previous employment, training, and certifications will be taken into consideration.

What you bring to RMG:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar field
  • Experience in successfully managing multiple projects.
  • Basic knowledge of building construction and building technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of REVIT.
  • Must be able to work independently and within teams to achieve goals.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time in order to meet deadlines
  • Possession of attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $72,000.00 per year
