Project Coordinator

Kate (Aka Katie, Aka Katie Jo) thrived in previous project coordinator roles- overseeing entitlement services in construction management. The challenge of orchestrating submittals for the planning and/or building department among various companies—architecture, structural, civil, MEP, and landscape firms—is exciting, and Kate has the awesome talent to bring it all together. At RMG, finding multiple disciplines under one roof, the emphasis shifted from coordination to enhanced communication—an ideal environment for Kate, who excels at integrating diverse elements. Piggy-backing from her early career in the restaurant service industry, where she honed multitasking skills and delighted customers with superb service as a host, server, and bartender,  Kate is a perfect addition to our corporate office, trading in fast shoes for fast thinking!

At RMG.

In my role as a project coordinator, I have the privilege of meeting with each task manager on a weekly basis to discuss ongoing projects and deadlines. I carefully review all executed contracts for completeness and ensure timely follow-ups with clients as needed. Collaborating with our dedicated team brings me great satisfaction, and am proud to contribute to our company’s ongoing success.

Outside of work.

I enjoy spending quality time with my dog, Scarlett. Additionally, I have a passion for travel and love to go on adventures with my boyfriend. Family holds a special place in my heart, and I cherish moments spent with them.

A story about Kate.

My proudest moment occurred at the age of 27 when I purchased my own house. Despite the closing falling on New Year’s Eve, I found myself working at the bar until 4 am on New Year’s Day. Determined to make the most of the moment, my dad drove all night from Vegas to assist with the move. We spent the night in the new house with just sleeping bags, but it felt like home—MY home. That experience marked a significant and gratifying milestone for me.

What gets me up in the morning.

I have a love for coffee and often find myself running late, mainly because I adore sleeping in.

Goals!

My primary goal is to be wealthy in happiness, health, and love. If financial success accompanies these aspects, that would be an added bonus.
